(St. Francois County, MO) The investigation into the 1989 murder of Jimmie Wade Martin of Bonne Terre continues with the recent questioning of two persons of interest. Sources tell KFMO B104 News they were picked up for questioning by Deputies with the St. Francois County Sheriff's Department and were released Tuesday evening. There are no other persons of interest at this time. No further details were available since the investigation is ongoing. Authorities say it's difficult to recreate details from the original case since there is no evidence left and most of those involved are no longer living. Records indicate charges of murder in the second degree were dropped a few days before the trial of the original suspect in the case, David Bryan White of Potosi, due to a lack of evidence. The case has been reviewed multiple times over the years with no arrests made for Martin's death.
