(Bonne Terre, MO) The Parent Teacher Club, at the North County Primary School, has a boost in funding for field trips, and other experiential learning, after a special fundraiser at the school. The Principal of North County Primary, Leigh Ragsdale - Knoderer, says they raised over $2,300. Ragsdale adds the students were told if they made their goal they could tape her to the wall,...and they did!
According to Ragsdale Knoderer the district's annual canned food drive was also held. It raised 8,000 cans this year. She adds the funds are great to receive, and the food will go to a good cause, yet the important thing is to get the kids community experience and help prepare them for their future as good citizens. Tune in to The Start morning radio show, from 6 to 9 o'clock Wednesday morning, for an interview with Ragsdale Konderer on the fundraiser from the Parkland's Freedom Leader, KFMO.
