More Deaths in Friday Coronavirus Update

(Park Hills, MO) St. Francois County Health Center officials are reporting 4 additional deaths from the coronavirus bringing the total to 18 people as of the Friday afternoon update. The figures, which can be viewed on the St. Francois County Health Center website, reflect an increase in cases of the virus around the county. The report shows 81 new cases since Wednesday. There are 308 active cases and there are 47 active cases associated with the Department of Corrections buildings in Farmington and Bonne Terre. 40 active cases are confirmed within the county's long term care facilities. Health Center Administrators urge you to continue to practice social distancing, good hygiene, and treat any interactions outside your household as a virus risk.
