MoDOT to Open Roundabout at I-55/US 67 Interchange in Jefferson County

Jefferson Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is set to open a new roundabout at the I-55/US 67 interchange, improving traffic flow for drivers in Jefferson County.

The roundabout, located in the southeast portion of the interchange, will open to traffic on Wednesday, January 29, at 3 p.m. Once open, the roundabout will accommodate northbound US Route 67 traffic and vehicles exiting northbound I-55 that are continuing onto US 67. Motorists traveling on northbound I-55 and taking the Festus exit (Exit 174) to access northbound US 67 will be routed through the new roundabout. Drivers using northbound I-55 to reach southbound US 67 will continue to use the existing loop ramp in the northeast quadrant of the interchange.

MoDOT advises drivers to remain alert as they navigate the new traffic pattern and to follow posted signage for a smooth transition.
