Mineral Area College and State Funding

(Park Hills, MO) State funding for junior colleges is seeing a change in Missouri and it's bringing additional dollars to Mineral Area College. That announcement was made at Thursday's MAC Board of Trustees meeting. The President of the college, Dr. Joe Gilgour, says the latest state budget shows an increase in one of two areas.

According to Gilgour the budget includes $2.5 million for the new tech building and $4.3 million for Automotive expansion at the college.
