Measure Gives Auditor More Access

(Jefferson City, MO) A bill from the Missouri Legislature, approved during the recently ended 2024 session, would give more power to the State Auditor's Office.

Missouri State Auditor, Scott Fitzpatrick, says prior to this bill citizens requesting an audit of a political entity, also had to collect signatures for a petition.

Fitzpatrick was a guest on the Start morning radio program on AM1240 KFMO.
