Man Suffers Serious Injuries in US 67 Crash Near Highway K

St. Francois County, Mo. (KFMO) - A De Soto man sustained serious injuries in a single-vehicle crash late Friday night on northbound US 67, one mile north of Highway K in St. Francois County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 10:23 p.m. when a 2006 Mitsubishi Raider, driven by a 30-year-old man from De Soto, veered off the right side of the roadway.

The vehicle struck several trees, became airborne, and the driver was ejected upon impact. The driver, who was not wearing a safety device, was transported to Mercy Hospital St. Louis by helicopter for treatment of serious injuries. The vehicle was totaled in the crash.
