Madison County Fatal Wreck

(Madison County, MO) A man from Farmington, 19 year old Arie P. Van Zee is dead after a two vehicle wreck in Madison County Tuesday morning at 6:00. Highway Patrol crash reports show Van Zee was headed west on Highway 72, a mile and a half east of Fredericktown when his car crossed the center line striking a pickup driven east by 23 year old Trevor M. Vance of Fredericktown. Vance received moderate injuries and was air lifted to Mercy Hospital South in Festus. Van Zee was pronounced dead at the scene. Neither Vance nor Van Zee were wearing seat belts when the crash occurred.
