MAC Mask Policy Changes

(Park Hills, MO) A social media post on the Mineral Area College Facebook page reports the mask mandate for the school is to be lifted as of today. CDC guidelines were updated recently to allow those who have been fully vaccinated to not wear masks, or distance when indoors, except at large gatherings. Officials at Mineral Area College say in the post they are lifting the mask mandate on campus. Per CDC guidelines, masks and distancing are still recommended indoors for employees, students, and guests who are not fully vaccinated. If at any time you feel a mask is appropriate while on campus, whether you are vaccinated or not, please feel free to wear one. The school is still using CARES Act funding to allow additional cleaning, improve air filtration, and look at other options to contain the spread of the virus.
