Leadington Moving Forward With New Appointees

(Leadington, MO.) There's a new City Clerk for Leadington after the latest meeting of the city's Board of Aldermen. Cindy Briley was appointed to the position. The previous city clerk, court clerk, mayor, police chief, and alderman and others had resigned their posts with the city for various reasons recently. Alderman Gary McKinney and Cassie Schrum, as well as Mayor Pro Tem Debbie Matthews, held the meeting with the announcement of Briley's appointment. Board members also accepted the resignations of Alderman Misty Dean, City Mayor Dustin Winick, and Officer Matthew Misuraca. Misuraca says he's leaving to pursue other career possibilities. Matthews also appointed Joe Davis to the open alderman's position.
