Join Discover Farmington for Downtown Trick-or-Treating and Costume Contest

Farmington, Mo. (KFMO) - Discover Farmington is hosting a special Halloween event this year, combining downtown Trick-or-Treating with a costume contest to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Long Memorial Hall.

On Friday, October 25, participating businesses in Downtown Farmington will be offering treats for trick-or-treaters from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. Families are encouraged to explore the downtown area, collecting candy and visiting a variety of local businesses. 

Kristen White, with Discover Farmington says Trick-or-Treating will have a familiar feel.

After the trick-or-treating fun, the event continues at Long Memorial Hall, where a costume contest will take place at 5:45 p.m.

Costume contest categories include age groups 0-5, 6-9, and 10 and up, with prizes for the winners. In addition to the contest, attendees will be treated to spooky movies on the big screen, adding to the Halloween atmosphere.
