Ironton Hit with Storm Damage

(Ironton, MO) The City of Ironton is cleaning up after Wednesday night’s storms.

According to a social media post by Mayor Jeff Stinson, he says there is extensive tree damage across the area and power outages around the city. The city’s street department and fire department spent time Wednesday night working to clear tree limbs and ensure safe travel for residents.

According to Stinson, Ameren Missouri crews had been working throughout the day to restore electricity from storms earlier in the day and additional crews have been sent in to assist with storm damage.

Arcadia Valley Schools canceled class for Thursday, due to the storm damage.
