Iron County Sheriff Burkett Hospitalized

(Ironton, MO) Iron County Sheriff, Jeff Burkett, is hospitalized in critical condition with the COVID virus. A press release from the Iron County Sheriff's Department shows Burkett was diagnosed January 15th and, after being quarantined, his condition was stable for days. Burkett showed signs of improvement, when he developed double lung pneumonia. The release also states, "The entire Iron County Sheriff's Office asks for your sincerest thoughts and prayers for Sheriff Burkett as he battles his way through this life altering challenge."
