Illinois Man Moderately Injured in St. Francois County Accident

(St. Francois Co., MO) An Illinois man is recovering from moderate injuries sustained in an accident Thursday evening in St. Francois County.

Missouri State Highway Patrol reports indicate that 28 year old Reese D. Williams, of Crystal Lake, Il., was traveling south on Highway 67 at Cash Lane, north of Bonne Terre, at 7:43, when his van slid off the left side of the roadway, due to excessive speed, and overturned. The van came to a stop in the center median, on its right side, facing east.

Williams was taken to Mery Hospital South, by ambulance, for treatment of his injuries. The van received extensive damage. Williams was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
