House Fire in Leadington

(Leadington, MO) One injury is being reported after a residential structure fire in Leadington this morning. The Fire Chief for the Leadington Fire Department, Zach Bertel, says they were called to the 500 block of Newton Street around 5:30.

According to Bertel the origin of the fire is undetermined and the Fire Marshall is investigating although no foul play is suspected. Besides the Leadington Fire Department firefighters from the Park Hills, Big River Bonne Terre, Leadwood, Wolf Creek, and Farmington fire departments were also on the scene.
