Highway 221 Stono Curve Realignment

Doe Run, Mo. (KFMO) - With Highway 221, just west of Doe Run, closed for the realignment of a dangerous section of the road near Stono Mountain, Missouri Department of Transportation officials are asking drivers to be patient since there is about a half hour detour.

Area Engineer Chris Crocker says there is a temporary road that has been built for residents that live in that area.

According to Crocker, weather permitting they expect about a 2 month road closure for the site.
