Help Connect Parkland Historical Trails

(Farmington, MO) An effort to connect the Parkland's historical trails is underway. The local historian helping drive the program is Nancy Cozean and she says you can help support connecting the Plank Road Trail, and the Trail of Tears, by contacting your local and state officials to voice your support. According to Cozean this can help raise additional funds for the project which includes physical improvements and showcasing our history.

Cozean explains most communities along the trail have acknowledged its importance with proclamations. She adds some improvements have already taken place including the placement of signs along the route of the Plank Road Trail.
