Gremminger Retires After 48 Years

(Desloge, MO) Desloge citizens are getting a new Fire Chief after the retirement of Larry Gremminger which was announced at Monday's Desloge Board of Aldermen meeting. The City Administrator of Desloge, Dan Bryan says Gremminger's family has a long history of working with the Desloge Fire Department and he'll be greatly missed.

Bryan adds the new fire for Desloge is Jared Meador and the Assistant Chief is Larry Penberthy. In other business at the Desloge board of aldermen meeting a trash removal fee was discussed. There could be a townhall meeting soon to get feedback from Desloge residents but no date, or time, has been set yet. A Bond option for a new pool, and Court Amnesty week in Desloge, were also a focus of the meeting.
