Gannon Talks Critical Race Theory at Luncheon

(Leadington, MO) State Senator Elaine Gannon is a member of the new special Joint Committee on Critical Race Theory. Gannon made the announcement at Tuesday's Park Hills Leadington Chamber of Commerce monthly investor luncheon saying the committee is meeting to hear from those who are against it and those who are for it. According to Gannon some K through 12 schools in Missouri, are already teaching the concept.

Gannon told the crowd the committee has met once and talked to those against the theory and their next meeting will be with educators and others who are already teaching CRT in public schools in the Kansas City area. In other business at the Park HIlls Leadington Chamber meeting Belgrade State Bank was the featured Center Stage investor and this year's Sweetheart Trivia date was announced. The trivia contest will be held August 21st this year at Twin Oaks Winery.
