Flash Flooding Hits Potosi

(Potosi, Mo) - Flash flooding created some problems across Potosi late Wednesday afternoon.  Officially there was no Flash Flood Warning issued by the National Weather Service, however, the area does remain under a Flash Flood Watch until Thursday evening.

Flooding along Breton Creek that flows through Potosi created some bridges that went under water for a time, and even some streets that were shut down due to excessive rainfall in places where there is no stream.  

There are no reports of buildings being flooded at this time.
