Festus Man Sentenced on Gun Charges

(St. Louis, MO) A Festus man, and convicted felon, 31 year old Kentrez Robinson, is sentenced to seven years and four months in prison after he was convicted of being caught with guns twice in 2020. The incidents include an arrest in August of 2020 as police found Robinson with a 9mm pistol and fentanyl. His second arrest was in October of that year. Robinson tried to outrun police during a high speed chase through St. Louis and was eventually caught on foot with a satchel containing a gun and more fentanyl. Robinson pled guilty in December to the two felony counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm.
