Farmington Shelter Now Open

(Farmington, MO) The new shelter in Farmington is now open. A Program Manager with the East Missouri Action Agency, Rob Baker, says they can help many people have a place to stay when otherwise they could be homeless with nowhere to stay.

The shelter began as an effort with the Uplift Center at the site of the Senior Center building. Baker says t5hey have staff on site to work with people who use the shelter to help them get out of poverty and homelessness, and into society.
