Farmington Man Injured in Wreck

(Jefferson County, MO.) A Farmington man, 86 year old Jack F. Luffy, along with 27 year old Hunter M. Skiles of Desoto, are both recovering from moderate injuries they received in a two car wreck that took place Thursday afternoon just before 4:30 in Jefferson County. Records from the Missouri State Highway Patrol show Skiles was driving north on Highway 67, at Flucom Road, while Luffy was driving south. Skiles attempted to turn left onto Flucom Road not noticing Luffy's car and the two collided. Both cars struck the concrete median. Luffy's car ran off the road after the wreck. Luffy and Skiles were taken to Mercy Hospital South at St. Louis.
