Doe Run, Mo. (KFMO) - In new details to a story we first brought to you on Monday.
A Doe Run man is facing felony charges for allegedly sending sexually explicit messages to a 14-year-old girl, according to court records filed on Saturday.
31-year-old Corey A. Hill is accused of sending the messages in 2024 when he was 30. Investigators obtained a search warrant for the phone number and email address associated with Hill’s Snapchat account, uncovering an exchange that included a sexually suggestive TikTok video. When questioned, Hill told investigators he did not recall sending the message but admitted to heavy drug use at the time. A consent search of his phone revealed that he had also added another juvenile, identified as an eighth-grade student, to his Snapchat contacts. However, the juvenile did not add him back, according to a detective’s report. While Hill has a criminal history in Missouri, authorities noted that he has no prior sex crime convictions.
The Washington County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office has requested Hill’s bond be set at $100,000 cash only, citing the seriousness of the allegations. Prosecutors also asked the court to order Hill to stay away from the victim, the victim’s family, their home, and any individual under the age of 18. Hill is charged with one count of enticing or attempting to entice a child, a felony punishable by five to 30 years in prison.
If convicted, he would not be eligible for parole, probation, or conditional release.
