Disturbance at Bonne Terre Prison

(Bonne Terre, MO) Corrections officers at the Eastern Reception, Diagnostic, Correctional Center at Bonne Terre are investigating an attempted escape that took place Friday morning sometime before 11 o'clock. Reports indicate an inmate allegedly took the keys to a prison maintenance vehicle and tried to escape by ramming the fence near a sally port. He was apprehended and is back in custody.
