Desloge Oak Knoll Apartments Fire

(Desloge, MO) No injuries are being reported after a fire broke out in an apartment at Oak Knoll Apartments complex in Desloge Tuesday afternoon. Desloge Fire Chief, Larry Gremminger says his crew were paged out at 4:57 pm and arrived on the seen six minutes later. Gremminger says there was heavy smoke and flames coming form a lower level corner apartment when firefighters got to the scene.

Big River Bonne Terre firemen were on the scene to assist while Park HIlls firefighters manned the Desloge house during the blaze. Gremminger adds his crew put the fire out quickly enough that no other departments were needed on the scene.
