Davis Charged with Murder and Abuse

(St. Francois County, MO) A woman whose address is listed as Arnold on the Casenet website, 24 year old Amberlyn Davis, is facing charges of murder in the second degree and abuse of a child resulting in death after being charged Wednesday with the crimes. Reports show her son, Jason D. Webb Jr., died September 29th at St. Louis Children's Hospital. It's alleged the child was struck with something or was thrown up against something. The incident is alleged to have taken place at the Bonneville Motel in Bonne Terre September 27th. Davis reportedly told authorities the child had fallen off the bed. Davis is being held in the St. Francois County Jail without bond.
