Crawford County Authorities Search for Wanted Felon

Crawford Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The Crawford County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Jody Lynn Barton, a 52-year-old man wanted on multiple charges. Barton is described as a white male with brown hair and brown eyes. He is 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighs approximately 145 pounds, and was born on March 4, 1972.

Barton is facing several charges, including financial exploitation of an elderly or disabled person, which is a Class B felony, and possession of a controlled substance, a Class C felony. Both charges have Capias Warrants issued. Additionally, he is wanted for failure to provide proof of insurance, a Class D misdemeanor, with a $150 cash-only bond attached.
