Crash at St. Francois County Intersection

(St. Francois County, MO) A woman from Farmington, 22 year old Jessica L. Hartman, is recovering from moderate injuries after she was involved in a three vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon, just before 2 o'clock in St. Francois County. Highway Patrol reports show Hartman, who was driving south on Hillsboro Road, stopped at the intersection with Highway O. According to reports she pulled out into the intersection crashing into the front of a van driven west by 55 year old Cheryl E. Brenneke, of Ste. Genevieve. Hartman's car ran off the right side of the road smashing into a utility pole. Brenneke's van continued west on Highway O hitting a pick up driven east by 43 year old Brian J. McFarland, of Farmington. Hartman was taken to Parkland Hospital at Farmington while Brenneke, who received minor injuries, was taken to Parkland Health Center at Bonne Terre. All three people were wearing their seatbelt at the time of the wreck. McFarland was not injured.
