Leadington, Mo. (KFMO) - The Park Hills - Leadington Chamber of Commerce hosted their monthly investor luncheon on Tuesday, October 15, bringing together local business leaders and community members to discuss upcoming events and developments in the area.
Brenda Jordan, the Chamber’s Treasurer, spoke on several upcoming initiatives, including the "Coffee, Commerce, & Conversation" event scheduled for October 22, which aims to foster networking and dialogue among local professionals.
The luncheon’s featured speaker was Central R-3 School District Associate Superintendent Zech Payne, who shared insights about his background and what drew him to the district. Payne highlighted how the school community and board members have been incredibly welcoming since his arrival.
Payne expressed gratitude for the support he’s received from both staff and leadership.
Looking to the future, Payne emphasized his dedication to upholding the long-standing traditions of Central Schools and working collaboratively to ensure continued success.
The next Chamber luncheon will take place on Tuesday, November 19, at Unitec Career Center in Bonne Terre, offering another opportunity for local stakeholders to connect and share updates on community and business developments.
