Car and Bicycle Accident Saturday

(Doe Run, MO.) A boy from Doe Run, 8 year oldZanser Marion, is recovering from moderate injuries he received in a collision with a car that took place about 7:30 Saturday evening in Doe Run. Missouri State Highway Patrol reports show Marion was riding his bicycle on a gravel road near Hildebrecht Road when the bike slid on the gravel as Marion tried to stop. He wound up in the path of a car driven by 27 year old Michael Cooperwood, also of Doe Run. The bike crashed into the passenger side door of Cooperwood's car. Marion was taken to Parkland Health center in Farmington.
