Blood Donations Urgently Needed

(St. Louis, MO) Red Cross leaders say blood donations are urgently needed now to keep medical facilities supplied at proper levels.  A Donor Recruitment Representative with the Red Cross, Steve Tochtrop, says when hospitals are low on blood they scale back on certain operations.

The next blood drive in the Parkland comes this Friday, October 13th at Central at Park Hills Central High School. The event takes place from 8 am to 2 pm. You can find out more about Friday's blood drive, and others in the region, at redcrossblood.org
