Bismarck Man Moderately Injured, Arrested

(St. Francois Co., MO ) A Bismarck man, 40 year old Jared W. Quinton, is recovering from moderate injuries sustained in a one vehicle accident in St. Francois County.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, the accident happened Saturday, at 4:35 p.m., when Quinton was traveling in a truck, west on Turley Mill Road, near Route EE, when the vehicle traveled off the left edge of the road and struck a tree.

Quinton was taken to Parkland Health Center in Farmington for treatment of his injuries. He was later taken into custody on suspicion of driving while intoxicated. He has since been released.

Quinton’s truck was listed as totaled. He was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the accident.
