Auditor's Office Forecasts Over $37 Million in Revenue For 2025

St. Francois Co., Mo. (KFMO) - The St. Francois County Auditor's Office is forecasting $37.7 million in new revenue for 2025.

Along with the previous year's surpluses of $16.3 million, total revenue for the new year will equal $54 million against $47.5 million in forecasted expenses. County Auditor Louie Sieberlich says the office is confident, but still has some concern regarding where the money is coming from.

Sieberlich says that that the Auditor's Office overall feels they'll be able to save the taxpayer's money.

$9.8 million of the money from expenses will be spent from surplus funds. The budget process began in July of 2024, with the eventual proposed budget being presented to the County Commission on December 17, 2024. That proposed budget can be viewed on the county's website at sfcgov.org.
