Smith Responds to State of the Union Address

Washington, D.C. (KFMO) - Missouri's Eighth District Congressman, Jason Smith, is responding to President Donald Trump's address to Congress.

Smith says he's encouraged by the accomplishments the President listed that have taken place so far with the new administration including immigration efforts.

Smith notes the President's efforts to make a more efficient government, like ending the policy of giving illegal immigrants $22 billion for free housing and automobiles, are also a welcomed change in Washington and across the country.
