Session Winding Down with Disruptive House

Jefferson City, Mo. (KFMO) - There are 3 weeks left in the Missouri legislative session and legislators are attempting to get as many bills through the House and Senate as they can before the May deadline.

State Representative of the 116th District, Dale Wright says in the past, the Seante was not able to get much work done due to fillibustering and other arguments yet during this session it's been House members who have been disruptive and holding up progress.

According to Wright, legislators are trying to get a portion of Proposition 3, dealing with paid sick leave, and a part of Amendment A, covering certain aspects of abortion, back in front of a vote of the people for clarification of both issues.
